Happy Halloween
October 31, 2008

Happy Halloween! Gannon was Captain Hook this year...he liked the idea of Captain Hook because Hook has a hook AND a sword - cool! Gannon's or Hook's assistant was Pirate Savion. And we trick-or-treated with his buddies Owen and Luke. We had a great evening...and we have a great neighborhood for trick-or-treating. A fun evening was had by all!!!
Pajama Party
October 31, 2008

Gannon, Papa and I headed to NAPS early Halloween morning to celebrate Halloween. NAPS has a Halloween Pajama Party for the kids - it is a blast for them. I just love that school and all of the staff! Papa and I were in charge of the fishing booth at the party and boy was that work!
Gannon had a great party. He is really looking forward to this evening so he can Trick-or-Treat!!!
Pink October Fashion Show
October 27, 2008

For the past two years, I have had the remarkable opportunity to sit on the Pink October Fashion Show committee and assist in the production of the spectacular show. I am the privileged individual that is allowed to work closely with the models (all breast cancer survivors) and teach them choreography for the show and how to walk to "model" walk.
This year was even better than last...I fell in love with many of these women. I am blessed to have worked with them and better off for knowing them.
A special thank you to each and every one of you!!!
Family Photos
October 18, 2008

My talented friend, Jessica, took some fabulous photos of the three of us for Christmas photos. The above photo is just a sneak peak. All of the photos turned out wonderfully! Check out more of Jessica's work at www.jessicacolephotography.com
She will be shooting my maternity photos too...I can't wait to work with her more.
Bishop's Pumpkin Farm
October 7, 2008
While we were at the pumpkin farm, we saw so many friends...so that was a definite plus. We love seeing our friends! And we of course: played, ate yummy food, picked pumpkins, took a hay ride and sipped on delicious cider. The day was great and it was a fun and traditional way to welcome Fall!
Preparing Sissy's Room
October 2008

Daddy and Gannon worked all weekend long on preparing baby girl's room. We have decided to convert the guest room into the princess headquarters, so that meant...clearing out the room (now it's time for a garage sale), priming the walls for the paint, painting the walls pink of course and adding new baseboards and crown molding - all fit for a princess. Many of you have asked, so how are you decorating her room?...the answer, over the top in PINK! I'll post more photos of the completed room once it is getting closer to completion.
Race for a Cure
October 4, 2008

This morning, the entire family woke early and walked for a cure! We participated in the annual 5K Walk/Run, sponsored by the Pink October committee, to find a cure for breast cancer. We participate in this walk every year...and this year, the weather was perfect and we had so much fun! It is important to Rich and I that Gannon understands the importance of participating in community events, while giving to charities.
