This afternoon, Richard and I worked at the Yuba-Sutter Fair selling beer/wine for the "Friends" foundation. After our shift, we met my parents and the kids to have some fun riding rides and playing games. Gannon completely enjoyed all of the carney games this year - he has recently became a very competitive little boy. He challenges himself to succeed at pretty much everything lately. Every game he played at the fair was another opportunity for a win, and if he didn't win the first time - he tried again and again until victory was his. What a kid! And Mila, simply cute as a button.

*Loving to suck on her long fingers
*Flirting with her crooked smile
*Being able to roll away when Savion licks her little nose
*Adores it when Daddy flutters her around the house
*Elusive toys finally make it to her mouth (and pacifiers are constantly in and out, in and out)
*Drooling
*Less Spit Up
*Laughing at brother's "Hi Sisters! Hi! HIII!!!" no matter how tired

Marysville Peach Festival
July 17, 2009

Tonight was HOT! Rich, the kids and I went to the Peach Festival. We met up with my parents and Aunt Nena for dinner at Casa Carlos and then strolled D Street. The children's area had a miniature race track and cars - Gannon adored driving the blue car. Even when we arrived home, Gannon asked if he could go back to "drive the car".
Fun Fun Funderland!
Last week of swimming lessons...
Ice Cream
July 5, 2009
Richard and I decided to take the kids to Sacramento this afternoon for one of our favorite treats - ice cream at Leatherby's. Yum, yum!! Gannon enjoyed his clown sundae. And Richard enjoyed his trip to REI after the treats...

Happy Birthday America!!!

We love the fourth of July!!! Friends, Family, Food and Fun is the theme for the day. As we have for the past two years, we initiated the day at the Children's Fourth of July parade. It was so wonderful to expose Miss Mila to this new family tradition that we participate in. Gannon's bicycle was decorated to the "T" this year, and it was so sweet to dress the kids up in red, white and blue to strut their stuff and pay tribute to their county - land of the free!!! After the parade and a little swimming at home, we headed to my best girlfriends home for some great conversation, food and fun (and a fantastic water slide for Gannon to enjoy with little friends). Thanks Ty and Teen! We then ended the day with more food, family and fireworks at my parents home. And I'm sorry to report that Gannon STILL didn't enjoy the fireworks this year, but Mila watched every one of them - go figure...

I hope that each and every one of you had a beautiful day.
Mila gets wet...

While Gannon and I were showing Daddy his new swimming abilities, Richard decided to expose Mila to the refreshing water of our pool. Mila seemed to enjoy every aspect of the pool. She was adorable in her birthday suit and so smart - as she automatically treaded the water with her little feet. Most of all, Mila loved watching her big brother swim circles around her.

Her first swim was great!
Swim Lessons Begin!
June 29, 2009
Gannon began swim lessons today. He took lessons from the great Miss Nikki. Miss Nikki taught him last year as well. After watching Gannon swim for Miss Nikki and along the side of his buddies, Ashley and Hannah - I am positive that my four-year-old little boy will learn to really swim this year! How exciting...
