Gman truly enjoyed his Valentine's Day. He awoke in the morning to a Spidy bag full of Valentine goodies. We then took him to the mall in Sacramento so he could go to the Disney store and make a teddy bear for Valentine's from Grandma and Papa. We also went to mall so I could walk and walk and try to progress labor - but nothing. Oh well, Gannon had a great day and so did the rest of us! Hope you did too.
Maternity leave has begun...
February 13, 2009
Today was my last day in the office. Believe it or not...I will miss my cute office and the wonderful women that work with me.
My maternity leave begins on the 17th. I'm still in awe that I made it to this point, as I thought for certain baby girl would be early - just like her brother. On her own time.
NAPS Valentine's Party
February 12, 2009
I remember Valentine parties at school when I was little - and I loved them! Maybe it was the color red, or the love in the air, or the fact that I received mail...whatever it was, I enjoyed the day very much. Well, Gannon had his Valentine party at school today and Richard and I went with him. What a great morning we spent at NAPS! The kids exchanged their Valentines, decorated and enjoyed cookies and played. Fun, fun, fun.

Not Forgotten...
Dear Blog Spot,
I promise that I haven't forgotten about you. As a matter of a fact, I think of you often. I apologize that I haven't made you a priority in weeks and weeks - please forgive me. I will update you very soon. You have become my family journal and I need you. I look forward to telling you about Christmas, New Years, baby shower's and baby preparation rituals (think belly casts and prenatal yoga). And soon, dear blog, you will meet Gannon's little sister.
Love,
The Blake Buzz

A Baby Shower
January 31, 2009
Today was a fantastic and lovely day. My best girlfriends and Mom threw me a wonderful, sweet and pink baby shower. I felt very "showered" with love. Thank you to all of my dear friends and family for your love and support. I can't wait for my little girl to be loved by you...the way you have all loved me, my husband and my little guy.
Thank you!!!

Welcome 2009!!!
January 1, 2009Polar bear plunge! Every year Richard jumps into our freezing cold pool to celebrate the new year (crazy, I know) and this year...his mini-me decided to jump in as well. Gannon thought it would be great - and when his little head popped up out of the water, I could see on his face that he wished he hadn't done that. Luckily, Mommy had a warm bath ready for her polar bears to enjoy.
May 2009 be a wonderful and blessed year for you and your family.
This year we are so excited to welcome a new member to our family...Gannon's little sister.
