Gannon had his first "homework" assignment...the Daring Ducks (the name of his 2-year old class at New Adventures Preschool) were given a white piece of paper with a large heart on it. The directions read, "Decorate the heart, cut it out and bring back to school". We'll - we were certainly up to the task! Gannon and I sat down at the table in his bedroom and began our project. We used the crazy hat that I wore to the Fremont-Rideout Heart Walk as the inspiration for our art project. Gannon colored, I cut and glued and walla! Our masterpiece!!!
This art project pumped up our creative juices, so we had to keep going. Next project - cupcakes.!!! Gannon is a great help in the kitchen. He loves to break the eggs (yes, I go through dozens) and mix. Here is video of him preparing for his cooking adventure. He gets so excited to help Mommy in the kitchen - enjoy! And needless to say - the cupcakes were a hit with Daddy!
