I am a member of the Sutter County Hiking Club and this month, the hike was at Gray Lodge. A group of us met early Saturday morning - it was a crisp and beautiful morning...absolutely perfect for a nature walk. There were no mosquito's, but tons of birds. I'm so glad that I brought along our binoculars to look at the birds. Gannon was in awe - this was the first time he had used the binoculars...he thought the morning was very "cool dude!" (He got that phrase from Crush on Nemo!)

I highly recommend this walk. Not only was it a refreshing activity; we accumulated 2-1/2 miles of walking - not bad!!! The company of friends made the morning even better!!!
