Perfect Valentine's Day. We all awoke to cards and gifts to one another. Sweet girl received a bouquet of flowers from her Daddy and brother - a sure annual gift she will receive from her guys. So special. We proceeded to get ready and headed to the airport to catch our flight to San Diego for a spot of sun and fun! This was Miss Mila's first airplane ride and first vacation. (Gannon's first vacation occurred in San Diego as well when he was only about 3 months old.)
Here she is...preparing for her first take-off.
Gannon is giving Mommy and Daddy a big thumbs up for the hotel that we're staying at for the next few days - the Manchester Grand. It was a lovely hotel...highly recommended and especially accommodating to a family that had many, many requests.
A photo of the hotel is below.
After we settled in at our temporary dwellings, we got ready for dinner. Daddy made reservations for us at one of our old time favorites - the Harbor House.
It was so fun to share this Valentine's Day and dinner this evening at the Harbor House with our children. The last time Richard and I celebrated Valentine's Day in San Diego as residents, we celebrated with dinner at the Harbor House (that was in 1998!).
